Scantist is a Singapore-based cybersecurity company specializing in application security, software supply chain risk, DevSecOps, AI security, and autonomous penetration testing. Founded from NTU research, Scantist has commercialized innovations including AppDefender and PAIStrike, with recognition from IMDA Spark, CyberBoost, AI Verify Foundation, and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification. Scantist helps organizations secure modern software, AI systems, and digital services with greater automation and confidence.
PAIStrike is Scantist’s autonomous penetration testing platform designed to help organizations validate application security faster, deeper, and more continuously. Built on Scantist’s R&D foundation in application security and AI-driven security automation, PAIStrike uses a multi-agent approach to simulate realistic attacker behavior across web applications and APIs — from reconnaissance and workflow exploration to exploit validation and evidence-based reporting.
The core problem PAIStrike solves is the widening gap between security testing demand and expert testing capacity. Modern organizations are releasing applications faster, managing more digital assets, and facing increasingly intelligent threats, while traditional manual penetration testing remains time-consuming, expensive, and difficult to scale. Rule-based scanners can identify known issues, but often fall short in authenticated workflows, chained attack paths, business logic issues, and real-world exploitability.
PAIStrike’s strongest proof points demonstrate its ability to move beyond basic automation into true autonomous security validation. The platform achieved 93.27% pass rate on XBEN across 104 benchmark cases, including 100% success on stateful Level 3 scenarios, showing strong capability in complex, multi-step attack reasoning. It also achieved 92.5% on CVE-Bench 2.1, successfully solving 37 of 40 real CVE exploitation tasks against real, running software. In offensive reasoning, PAIStrike achieved 100% on CyBench, completing 31 of 31 evaluable CTF-style challenges across diverse security problem-solving scenarios.
Beyond benchmark performance, PAIStrike has also demonstrated practical autonomous offensive security capability in competitive real-world-style environments, achieving a global Top 20 ranking in HackTheBox CTF, reported at #16 globally among 1,704 teams and Top 1 in Southeast Asia.
With these proven results, PAIStrike helps security teams and service providers turn penetration testing into a scalable, repeatable, and evidence-driven security validation capability. By automating complex testing workflows, validating findings with evidence, and producing actionable reports, PAIStrike reduces manual workload, accelerates assessment cycles, and helps organizations continuously uncover and remediate exploitable risks before attackers do.
